Bio

An electric cellist, singer, and producer hailing from Baltimore, Maryland. AxixA's homegrown mix of sultry and rock vocals wrap around lyrics of mental illness, love, and identity encased in a sound that is not quite Rock, but not quite anything else either.

Initially Classically trained, AxixA left Classical performance (and music school) behind for a journey through Jazz, Rock, and Electronic music over the last five years. This has led her to recording sessions and tours with artists such as Starset, Dennis Chambers, and Adam Blackstone.  During that formative time,  AxixA switched to using electric cello primarily and audio programming where she designs custom effects for her Cello.

Now AxixA is focusing on her own sound. Creating music that reflects her musical journey and history. A little orchestral, a little rock, a little jazz, all dope.  She is producing new music for her fans as well as scoring a new film. Stay tuned!

New Youtube Series!

Where's the Cello?
...well lets look for it! In my new youtube series, we analyze VST effects Ive previously used to get different sounds out of my Cello.

why?
Because a Cello doesn't only have to sound like a Cello! This opens doors for performance and recording opportunities!

Episode 1 is available now! I break down how I use Guitar Rig's Step Sequencer.

Tell Me Your Story

I think most of us can admit that we just had to be broken, shattered to the point where we wondered if we would ever become whole again, to be transformed.

I want to know what that moment felt like for you! Let's make it normal to talk about! I do not glorify suffering, but that quiet moment where you realize you need help, you need change....that should be celebrated!

Email me your story, and I will send you a free copy of my next single "Care To admit"

Metro Gallery...and new original music coming!

Oh man, I had a great time at Metro Gallery! Thanks to the sound team, TV Girl, Infinity Crush, and Quinton Randall for an awesome night!

I really felt alive last night with our great and positive crowd as they sung along to my covers and danced to my tunes. When I stopped to talk about mental illness, a lot of audience members were touched and shared that with me afterward. That's the power of my soon-to-be-released original "Pinocchio". Keep your eyes and ears open for it!

First Show Report

First show was, after some hiccups, a success!!

Had so much fun sharing my latest songs with The Meer and Miles Hewitt at The Holy Underground. We had an intimate turn out, but so is the space so thats okay.  Youltube videos will be available soon!

So what was so chaotic about it?

I MELTED my bow! Had to drive home and grab my spare.

The brand I was using says it's carbon fiber, so how did it melt under a heat lamp so quickly and without a scent? I have no idea. They are replacing it for free so I won't complain!

Message me if you must know the brand.
